>>13687402They could sort of, but they wouldn't be all that useful. With the technology we're aware of, it would be at most equivalent to an RFID chip but with much worse range. It's not worth the effort when 90% of the population is trackable easier through phones/smart devices and the other 10% (which is who they'd be more concerned with) is less likely to get the vaccine, but still trackable without it in a variety of methods.
The "lol they don't need a chip you have a phone" argument is dumb, it should be "they don't need a chip, they have drones/satellites/cameras/etc".
