You can replace smart with degree and the argument would be the same. Like other anons in here stared, you don't get wealthy by your salary, you get wealthy from investments and being smart with your money, which doesn't take a whole lot of intelligence, just a good sense in the market. It makes it easier if your a high level executive, but at that point you're in a completely different class in society.
