I'll point out though that philosophy and science have always been rooted in the supernatural: not in the sense of praying to invisible spirits for good crops, but in the sense of analyzing inexplicable phenomena and trying to come up with rational explanations for them, reconciling what is seen above natural law with what we know about said laws
