Two divided by two means "if I have two apples and want to distribute them evenly amongst two people, how many apples will each person get."

Your question reads "if I have one apple and want to distribute it evenly amongst zero people, how many apples will each person receive?"

Well, that's not defined, because it's outside the stipulations for division, and thus the answer doesn't exist because it's an invalid question.

In at least some cases, it is zero. In pic related, the available force pushing up on the load = the amount of input force divided by the distance between the load and the fulcrum. For any real number x, if xy=1 where y is a real number, then y is defined to be 1/x.

There is no real number x which satisfies the equation 0*x=1.

Division and multiplication is LITERALLY the same thing.

If 5 * 2 = 5 / 0.5

Then 5 * 0 = 5 / 0

Therefore dividing by zero simply results in a zero same as multiplying by zero.

Simple as :^)

and if we try to add something else like

12x(5/0) = 7y(6/0)

it instantly becomes

(12x(5/0)) = (7y/(6/0))

0/0 = x*0
zero divided by anything is always zero, so:
0 = x*0

therefore x is "any number", because any number multiplied by zero equals zero.
