How often are doctors and other medfags (and police, I guess) lying when they tell people this?
Sorry if off-topic. I though it qualified since it relates to the practice of medicine.

Cops don't lie about that stuff in my experience, if they say they 'didn't suffer'
it usually means they where dead before they had any real time to process what was about to happen to them.

If it was some suffering involved but ended shortly you get the 'didn't suffer for long'.
If it was something drawn out and ugly the wont go into details and try to comfort you in some other way.
"we gonna git the basterd who did diz" speech etc.

Dunno how medics approach that stuff tho, maybe they're more inclined to lye to not traumatize you.
If your loved one is a victim of a violent crime you will prob hear the autopsy report at some point so they wont BS you.
