That is what you should expect if you wanted to prove the vaccine is harmful beyond any doubt. OP is requesting arguments for him bothering to take the vaccine in a context where a previously unreliable set of institutions are pushing it, even with coercive measures. Those are different things. Is harm related to it? Could be, but not the main point made by OP, otherwise he would have mentioned the potential mechanisms that could make it an overall net negative (such as ADE, for example).

But this is the complete opposite of how pharmaceuticals are usually treated. The burden of evidence lies in the drug maker to prove BOTH the safety and efficacy. What is the rush is this context? The COVID epidemic has largely stabilized, and we know what we're dealing with now. Initially, we thought it was more deadly than it really is, and we were concerned about hospitals becoming flooded at the beginning of the pandemic when the infection was spreading rapidly, as new outbreaks often do. But that's not a concern now, so I see no reason why we shouldn't go through the normal process of testing, which generally takes YEARS in order to exclude the possibility of long term side effects.
By the way, even 21% of drugs that have gone through the FULL testing process are pulled from shelves due to causing serious adverse effects that are only identified after several years. This is called medical reversal.
Again, we don't have to prove anything. The burden of proof is on drug manufacturers to demonstrate that there are no long term side effects. Government bureaucrats have given pfizer the FDA approval, but it is simply objectively true that these drugs have not received the standard amount of testing that most drugs receive, which is absolutely ridiculous. It is one thing to resort to untested drugs for something like cancer or parkinsons. It is completely different to use untested drugs on healthy populations for something that is basically just a super-flu.

Long covid is basically not an issue. The disease has been around for almost 2 years now. Yes, there have been some anecdotal reports of "long covid", but if it were a serious and widespread issue we would know about it by now. They didn't. You're not addressing my point. What I said is OBJECTIVELY true. ALL other drugs generally go through YEARS of testing. It doesn't matter how much data they have, and how many people were in their tests, because NONE of the tests have extended for the normal length of time. Again, that is OBJECTIVELY true. Yes, the FDA approved it. But that doesn't change the fact that these vaccines have not undergone the usual amount of testing.

People were literally reporting birth defects as soon as it hit the market in Europe. The US FDA (under purview of Frances Oldham Kelsey) refused to approve it had no safety data. People took the drug anyway despite the FDA saying it specifically wasn't approved. If you're comparing thalidomide to anything, compare it to ivermectin use.

Nevertheless, it was monitored to make sure it was as low as possible. The recalls were because the levels of nitrosamine were higher than what was considered acceptable. Because of ongoing quality assurance plans, the issue was discovered before it could cause harm, which is basically the exact opposite of the point you were trying to make.

There is literally no flaw in your logic. Though I'm inferring that you think traditional vaccines are safe. They are not. Traditional vaccines have been known to be harmful, even deadly, for 100 years yet they are still pushed by nearly every medical practitioner you meet. Even at the time of the Spanish Flu, people knew that it was just a cover up for deadly typhoid vaccines. But obviously that stuff got memoryholed. So the situation is much worse than you imagine: there are deadly treatments that the medical establishment still use-- why? because they're profitable and it's easy to call anyone who opposes them a conspiracy theorist.
