so i had a discussion with a family member about the vaccine, he argued with the casual "believe in SCIENCE™", he used the media references like the "antivaxx cult", "risking me risking you", i am smart you are stupid sociopath bla bla etc...
basically acting like an actual neurotic mentally insane stereotype exactly like pic related.
it goes like this
>him: why you dont get the vaccine
>me: i am skeptical about the vaccine
>him: but muh experts and SCIENCE
>me: there is no expert in the world who can guarantee the safety of the vaccine at the moment, there are no studies on long term side effects
>him: but the FDA bro
>me: so...?
>him: YOU DONT GET IT?!
>him: YOU RUIN EVERYTHING!
>him: BECAUSE OF YOU WE WILL NEVER GET BACK TO NORMAL!
>him: (more seething etc...)
>me: look man, this is very simple.
>me: there are rational reasons behind my decision
>me: I've never in my life demand anything from you, so do not demand anything from me
>him: YOU ARE A MONSTER I HOPE YOU DIE!

it ended with him leaving the apartment and slamming the door.
is that kind of thing ever happen to you guys? could it be that the vaccine is causing mental illness or something?
