actually some of the mentally ill really are possessed, there are some pretty thorough tests to go through to weed out mental illness cases before you can contact a bishop who can assign a professionally trained exorcist to treat your case.

Maybe but what he says is true. The catholic church does have exorcists and they will quite literally send you to a doctor to weed out mental illness or other medical conditions. That being said genuine exorcisms rarely if ever happen.

I'm not even religious but for some reason amerifats think the catholic church is like their mega-churches with weird anti science dogmas, it's not.
