But that particular kind of response is ridiculous & I don't think so effective against actual malicious intent.
It bewilderes me that there isn't any kind of protocol at the biggest airport in Athens, other than my friend just sitting there at a desk half-looking at the screen showing the x-ray while playing games with me online, then encountering something suspicious & having to call the cops who still have no clue or direction, then waiting for an "expert" and in the end giving up and taking it out.
That doesn't seem "safe", but fucking primitive and I really wonder how someone hasn't taken advantage of it yet.
Actually they probably have. Not in a spectacular terrorist way. Just personal stuff I suppose.
