it will be another 20 years until they ran all their experiments with it, and you need to create an industry to provide those high tech parts in mass production. you cant build fusion reactors the way they built iter. the construction has to be streamlined, reliable and repeatable in a fraction of the time they required to build iter. iter isnt even a complete reactor, it lacks any means to create energy. no water loop, no steam turbines. the next ITERation of it will focus on that. so its another 20 years until that one will be finished.

ITER, more widespread genetic engineering, "cures" for certain cancers, extremely realistic VR, widespread automation of dumb labor.
However, I don't think the world will go through any major "aesthetic" changes like it did during the industrial revolution. Our cities will look pretty much like they do now.

Things will only get interesting in the second half of the 21th century as carbon nanotubes, cheap electricity thanks to fusion and robot workforce will enable to construction of many new buildings and projects. Add widespread transhumanism, space industralization and improved AI/VR and things are going to be different. It will go gradual but once you are an old man looking back you will see the changes.
