If any group of mathematicians are not of any interest to the military in a wartime situation it would be the logicians and homological algebraists (algebraic topologists, cat theorists, k-theorists, etc.)

>mathematical physics (especially particle theory and gravity manipulation)>dynamical systems (especially nonlinear)>statistics>CS, broadly (optimization, numerical analysis) >applied analysis, broadly (ODE, PDE, waves)>differential geometry, broadly (Riemannian, Kahler, geometric analysis)>applied probability or game/choice theory>applied algebra (yes this includes number theory)with the huge reliance on STEM it will be impossible not to be affected by a large war.
