Im not saying stimulants are bad. I smoke, drink coffee and microdose Methylphenidate and LSD to improve my productivity. The difference between medicin and poison is dosage and timing. When i dose i do it with predetermined scheduling and at predefined doses, yes, even coffee. I have no illusions about the harmful effects, all medicine is a tradeoff between therapeutic effects and unwanted side effects. I adjust my schedule to fit in appropriate sleep and recuperation and time doses so they do not interfere with my sleep and appetite.
If you're tired you need to stop being a masochistic fag. Go sleep. No one thinks you're cool because you wear yourself out to 4 AM. Caffeine has a 5 hour half life, plan accordingly, avoid blue light 2 hours before sleep - install something like f-lux. Practice basic sleep hygiene.
