Hey it's me from a couple of days ago. Have you /sci/entists come up with an adequate definition of an electric field yet? As a pre-emptive measure, I will outline proposed definitions of an electric field that weren't satisfactory from the last thread:
>an electric field is NOT just a result of maxwell's equations
>an electric field is NOT just a tool used for other calculations
>an electric field does NOT just power electronics
>an electric field is NOT the sum of a negative (i.e., "an electric field is not a particle")
