If general intelligence is at least partially a function of sheer mind-power, and mind-power depends on biological structures and realities meaning probably the mitochondria (the energy plants of cells) would in your opinion be possible to prove that certain mT DNA haplogroups produce a significant higher or lower degree of intelligence in the resulting individual?

I'm wondering if Sidis actually made some fundamental breakthroughs in physics and wrote them out in code because he knew mankind wasn't yet ready to handle this knowledge. Maybe we need to take another look at his book on streetcar transfers.

Reminder that he was literally raised to be a genius by his father and that in purely cognitive terms the experiment was a success, which means that in his writings somewhere there is basically a blueprint of to how to make someone develop this type of high intelligence and no one cares about it because it didn't work for one person due to a series of social circumstances completely outside of the Sidis' control

I wish there was better material about that type of stuff out there because I'm sure other parents have done similar things. Imo it should be common knowledge and something we should all attempt, with the added adjustment that you shouldn't neglect your kid's social development.

Meanwhile Ramanujan came up with ground breaking maths without any sort of special education and with a shitty calculus text book as a guide. Used to starve himself just to do maths while working a shitty clerk job. Came up with enough shit in his spare time to impress the leading mathematical minds of the day to be invited over to England out of complete obscurity.
