Aside from the oblate horizon, like >>13637804 said, I think you can notice a spinning black hole by the drag exerted on the surrounding matter / light / spacetime

all science has is theories based on observable evidence, nobody really knows whats going on inside a blackhole, glad i dont have to get near one to find out what they are, because i bet science is not far wrong if anything so getting too close would be a fatal mistake
