Though, the health effects of graphene haven't completely been studied, so it's possible it could be carcinogenic, well the smaller flakes that is, as other polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons are as well, i.e. benzene. There's probably a "transition point" where the graphene flakes become large enough that they don't interact with anything in your cells.
