yes, global warming causes ice melt in the arctic, this causes fresh water release i the arctic, this causes salinity of the sea water in the arctic to decrese, this causes the difference in salinity between equatorial waters & polar waters (the "driving force" of the Gulf stream) to decrease, this causes the Gulf stream to cease flow

We are way beyond intervening. Even if humanity would tomorrow disappear it would still continue to happen. We cant do anything past "stop everything we are doing" and even then it would not matter anymore. Just cope and adapt

How can something the size of a camel be out of control? I get that they can run relatively fast but they're not at all nimble. Kangaroos, I could see being a problem without predators to keep them in check, but camels? Can't the government declare them to be free target practice? Or are they too scared to let citizens have more than a single shot rifle?
