because of that, the chinese are not capable of protecting their oceanic imports past the first island chain, and would be blockaded out of their oil supply, as well as food, fertilizer, and most raw materials immediately upon breakout of war
they'd have to do it all by road and rail, and neither exist in anywhere near the throughput they require
this will result in China being strangled out of their capacity to fight in 2 months or less, perhaps a bit longer if Russia decided to give them everything, somehow don't extort the ever loving fuck out of the chinamen in the process, and those pipelines don't get immediately bombed
the area within the first island chain is also extremely fucking shallow, so any attempt to breakout with submarines would be immediately detected and destroyed
The chinamen would only be able to hit the ConUS with ICBMs, and given that those must be considered nuclear since they're primarily for carrying a nuke, they'd be met with a nuclear retaliation from the US when still in flight
given that 70% of the chinese population is compacted in the north around the yellow river, this will hurt them a lot fucking more than they'd hurt the US, and that's not even considering how the chinese have only ~3-400 warheads total (~180 likely ready to launch) compared to the US's 4000+ (~2000 likely ready to launch)
Nuclear warplanners and think tanks calculated that they'd be able to kill 95+% of the Chinese population with a fraction of the US arsenal because of their high density, and this capacity would logically extend to the Russians as well as they have a similar arsenal
the US feigning moral superiority is and has always been theatre, they've never had any issues with slaughtering civilian populations as collateral damage, so if the chinese actually struck american cities directly, Beijing would learn what Tokyo did in ww2, and that's without using nukes
