These migrations probably spread via the internet because 4chan is a safe haven for radical opinions given anonymity (for the most part). My guess specifically for the Christian Fundamentalists being here is for a number a reasons:
>Lighter / Midcore evangelists bumping uglies with their Trump bros since the two go hand-in-hand. >The ability to criticize mainstream science without fear of social repercussion. Try saying out loud on the internet you believe the Earth is 6000 years old or flat or something and you will be ostracized even in the real world if your statements catch enough wind. >Contrarian-fakers: This is probably a somewhat common one. These guys probably don't even really believe in Juedo-Christian God with all their being, but rather seem to have a hatred for mainstream views (atheism / irreligion is becoming increasingly popular).
