I like to think that I understand what an electron is, but I know that there is some smartass out there somewhere who will tell me that I'm stupid and that an electron is not what I think it is. So go ahead and get to the point. Define the nature of an electron, and what it is, using the most accurate description that mankind's knowledge is capable of producing.
