Lol, yeah, me too. The roots of those things are measurements I did in the experimental classes when I was doing my physics major.
When I was in highschool I also used to think quantum mechanics must just be a bunch of old dudes circle jerking mentally.
I legitimately don't have a better explanation for what I observed in those experiments.

We know that we are uniquely privileged observers of the universe in the time dimension. If an intelligent civilization existed many billions of years before or after the current era, they would not have been able to discover as much about the universe as we have done to this point. Too far into the past, and the universe is too chaotic and there aren't enough heavy elements to allow for intelligent life. Too far into the future, and other galaxies beyond our local group will have sped away faster than their light could ever travel to reach us.

We don't believe that we are uniquely privileged observers of the universe in spatial dimensions because there's no evidence to suggest that we are.

Aren't we just in the center of our own observable universe? And so is everywhere else?

What's the big deal about being in a center besides the idea that some things are so near the edge of the absolute universe that they cut possibly have a sperical observable universe?

(Or can they?)

As far as I know this idea is not studied because we can only study the universe from our own hubble sphere or whatever it's called these days.
