What is the best introductary book on GR for a mathematician? I heard that Schutz is good, and Carroll is supposedly good to.

If you've already learnt differential geometry and know some special relativity, then 'The large scale structure of spacetime' by Hawking and Ellis is pretty good.

literally nothing as far as academic interest goes. einstein couldn't do basic math, he has nothing to teach you, however you can enjoy the pleasure of pointing out all of the flawed logic and holes in GR to physicists.
thats a fun game because instead of seeing the mathematical flaws as a legitimate reason to question the logical coherence of the theory, the physicists' confirmation bias kicks in and you get to bear witness to hysterical bullshit like

just go with Misner, Thorne, Wheeler. It's a hefty book, but you as a mathematician can pick out the parts that have the most math. Other books don't really go into much detail. Physicists usually treat math as a tool box rather than a rigorous framework
