I have solved the mystery of gravity and spacetime.
Spacetime is an incompressible fluid that flows into matter. As it does this, it transfers some of it's momentum to matter. You can think of that as a kind of "drag".
So spacetime is flowing extremely fast into Earth. As it does this, a little bit of it flows into us, which drags us downward in the direction that it's flowing (toward Earth).
Because spacetime is moving toward Earth, it is also true to say that by opposing spacetime, we are moving away from Earth at relativistic speeds.
How do I know that we moving so fast away from Earth?

The answer is time dilation. There are two kinds of time dilation (not really, but I'll get to that). Gravitational and kinetic time dilation are considered two different things, but they are actually the same.
The only thing that can cause time dilation is movement through spacetime. So it doesn't matter if you move through spacetime (kinetic) or spacetime moves through you (gravitational). They are essentially the same thing.
