>>13618564It's not ambiguous, if you are speaking English and say "America", everybody knows you are talking about the USA. Some South Americans will put on a performance of acting confused and offended, but they are not earnestly confused. In English, if you wish to refer to both North and South America using a single term, that term, you say "The Americas"
