>>13611757depends on what you want it for i guess? i just bought a "KYOCERA au GRATINA 4G PINK KYF31" which is a japanese fliphone. japan make the best basic mobiles in the world, because people there still have a demand for that kind of thing. there are many smartphones from before the android/iphone era, such as sony erricsons and blackberries, the problem with older phones though is that the browsers will suck, no new updates, the tech in them is all slowly becoming discontinued. many of them rely on 2g and 3g, which won't be available in many countries soon, so it would quickly become a brick. you can literally just plug a 4g dongle into a laptop and use it as a phone if you want, and you could do something with a raspberry pi to make your own phone using the same idea. you can also get pocket PCs, like openpandora and GPD, which generally have 4g or you can use a dongle again, they can run windows or linux or whatever else you want.
