i'm somewhat left-leaning and was one of the JRE watchers and subreddit posters who's posted a fair bit in there shitting on him for the long, dumb covid monologues he injects into almost every episode. (I don't necessarily dislike him in general and still watch if I'm interested in the guests; just don't like that one aspect.)
