Most studies show an increase of 0.25-0.5 standard deviations in cognitive improvement when going from untrained to aerobically trained. This corresponds to an IQ increase of 3-7 and is easily the most low hanging fruit when it comes to cognitive improvement but it is only attainable from aerobic exercise like running/cycling, not lifting weights at the gym which most people think is the only way you can exercise. 10 minutes of warmup on treadmill every second day isn't enough to get the improvements you need, it requires at least 3 hours a week and you don't get optimal brain gains until you reach a level of 5-10 hours a week.
The other easily attainable option is to correct any nutritional deficiencies and take multivitamins that include every vitamin.
