Wikipedia is bad for maths for a few reasons. 1. I randomly switch inequality signs at times lol, and 2. no name professors insert their own made up "sub-fields of math" that sound super relevant but in fact are simple applications of widely known theorems. Like "game theory for finance" is not a real field, and it wasn't invented in 2007 by some random turk, instead finance people who want to use game theory just use the same game theory everyone else learns. You'll see a lot of examples like that on wikipedia
