>>13607630If it makes you feel any better, I used to read books like "the elegant universe" and "godel, escher, bach" as a kid in the single digits age bracket... I just had a dictionary with me and asked my parents what certain stuff meant if I couldn't make sense of it.
If you're trying to suggest that people can somehow make sense of esoteric things outside of their lived experience, I'm gonna say that's just not a thing. (ex: how is an 8 year old gonna make sense of localized power density dynamics in reactor theory if they never broached reactivity, neutron life cycles, material behaviors first?)
