>>13594359I did a little research and found out that the pesticide responsible for this is known as Atrazine.
Atrazine is a herbicide of the triazine class. It is used to prevent pre-emergence broadleaf weeds in crops such as maize (corn) and sugarcane and on turf, such as golf courses and residential lawns.
Given that Atrazine is a pesticide and is hence used in mass level agriculture, I wondered what affects it had on humans.
I found a research study summarizing over a decade of research, that has further confirmed some truly scary stuff about atrazine, the most commonly detected pesticide contaminant of ground and surface water: atrazine both "demasculinizes" and "feminizes" vertebrate male gonads.
This is true for multiple species, including humans.
Atrazine shrinks testicles, reduces sperm count, and can even make males grow ovaries.
