There is no grand design, rhyme or reason for life, and hence there is not a single morally spooked reason to advocate for policies to curtail it. On the contrary, opposing it is self-interested as taxes, regulations and so on will remain favorable which does benefit my limited life of what, 70 years left on Earth?
Let's look at the arguments
>but muh heckin polar bears
No reason to care. Extinction happens all the time in nature.
>muh climate refugees
Their problem. Life isn't fair. It is aleatory and they happened to be born at that place and circumstance.
>muh coast line loss
Also, not a problem. This affects landowners. As I do not own coastal properties, it is not a reason to be concerned.
>muh future generations
Same potential person argument anti-abortion advocates use.
Material is in a constant state of flux. The fundamental refusal to accept this is a mark of a second-rate mind. There is not one reason for me to support CO2 schemes and other policies, nor propagate hypotheses or even evidence that validates it. Even if incontrovertible evidence for it was provided, you are a moron to evangelize for it.
