Transferring isn’t an option
I could have gone to Toronto or Waterloo uni here but for financial reasons I will have to stick with my college at least until grad school.
also I am doing a joint honours math and computer science bachelor at university of ottawa

I went to Queen's instead of Loo or UofT because I'm not Asian or suicidal. It actually isn't a huge deal even if your goal is US tech. I've had interviews with Google, SpaceX, Tesla and Intel and they didn't seem to care. I didn't get the jobs because I'm incompetent not because of the uni. I think.

It makes ZERO difference where the world's best programmer got educated IF he is the world's best programmer.
