Aging is certainly the biggest threat to the West & Asia, eventually even Latin America & Africa will have a situation where birth rates have hit a critical level.
In Africa the coca bean farm owners say that they can't get enough workers because the youth are moving to the cities. This is what we saw a few decades ago with China, and it's a still on going process where china has decided that it economically makes more sense to move the parents from remote mountain areas into the cities where their kids have moved to.
What are some serious efforts that are meant to tackle aging & aging disorders? I don't think there's a boomer in the world who would be offended if you said that we should have not invaded Afghanistan & Iraq to instead build much bigger WTC buildings, and use the war on terror money on combating aging such as curing the brain degradation disorders such as dementia.
