talk about gunshot wounds or something? I always found it interesting how the human body can both be so sensitive and so resilient to gunshot wounds and it all comes down to a bunch of tiny probabilities when you're shot. Then you could segue into the body systems that are affected most when things go badly and then wrap it up with a generalized definition of what causes shock.

You do know what an actual Shoc is right? you cannot breathe that shit away kek. Allthough usually your breatihng rate increses during a shock, so yea breathing properly for proper O2 saturation might delay death but whatever kek, i'm now really not sure if this was just a dumbpost or intentionally written like that to bait me.

Yes, why are you so confrontational? I never implied that the image has anything to do with lead shot. OP asked for ways to make it interesting and I thought of a scenario, if you don't like it that's fine but at least I contributed. Even if OP meant specifically septic shock you can compare and contrast the effects of traumatic blood loss to septic shock, and I would be willing to bet most undergrads/college students would pay more attention if you open with something ear catching like gunshots wounds.

Yup, actual shock.

Two separate injuries. Felt warmth come, began violently shaking, vision started to black, and I just started hooooofing as hard as I could. First in little fledgling mouse breaths, then more, and more, and then I was righted and got myself out of danger.

Sure felt shockey.
