Science hasn't yet answered any of the most fundamental questions: the origin and reason for reality, the origin of life, conscience or language; we don't even properly know what thoughts are and what is in the gap between stimulus and actual sensation. Also, we approximate everything to linear systems and hope it doesn't make a difference; we use convenience in math all the time, the significant being the existence of infinites and our use of infinite numbers such as ?. However, we do know enough in order to make our lives pretty comfy.
