There's this article I found last year about the benefits of a so-called "Holistic Learning" method that I want your opinions on

You should really read the whole thing, but the tl;dr is that the author has found a way to place virtually anything in long-term memory and keep it there indefinitely using a system of web-like connections from one topic to another. All it requires is a bit of maintenance by reviewing different parts of the web every so often, and in this way you have a theoretically amazing memory.

What do you guys make of this? I tried it briefly after reading the article, but it didn't work very well. Will try it again soon. It might be something like perfect pitch where it has to be inculcated during childhood
