Now that Pfizer is FDA approved, it'll be years before Novavax is approved.
Also because Pfizer is now approved, be prepared for Moderna and J&J to get pulled for some contrived reason.

Submission in October granted they sort quality issues at Fuji Texas. Government has hamstringed them over the approval process. I feel like they wanted the mRNA vaxxes out so they could gather as much data as possible before approving a traditional vaccine.

It would be the exact opposite, actually. Moderna is just the same thing as Pfizer, therefore there is no "advantage" over having two types of vaccines FDA approved. J&J is viral vector (somewhat same principle but still different technology) with different serious AE which offer more flexibility depending on gender and age of patient. Plus it's fucking J&J, the world's biggest pharmaceutical company.

It's more like the lesser of two (or more evils) in a world that's pushing toward needing a vaccine card to do anything. Novavax seems relatively safe and efficacious compared to what's currently available in the USA.
