I ironically "believe in science". Nuclear energy yes, vaccination yes, genetic modification of food and humans yes. Anti-vaxxers, anti-nuclear activists, creationists, organic food shills and alternative medicine shills need prison. Soulless materialism is the only option that is available if soulful materialism is not possible. I could take a more nuanced ironic stance, but organized and applied science did so much good in the 20th century that I get very dreary hearing the shit from America. Just take the provisions relating to heresy from Justinian's code of law and file off the references to Christianity and replace them with scientism.
