>>13565116At least he had a scan and the results actually existed. Getting my private insurance in the US to agree to anything is a fucking war every time I need it. Everything my doctor suggests I get or what the specialist suggests is denied by the insurance as "medically unnecessary". I just wanna get my back unfucked, my doctor wanted to rule out other shit and the specialist agreed.
The insurance's alternative is always some shitty pain management doctor who will tell me to take tylenol and advil at the same time. Even though I've used them so much I'm tolerant to them and they won't prescribe oxy anymore for good reason. My pain is getting worse and they keep saying shit like "nah a CT scan isn't medically necessary, here see this OTHER pain management doctor that will tell you the same thing as the last one". I'm actively suffering and my insurance is killing me by not allowing me to get the care I need.
