>>13564740I don't care about society because it doesn't care about me. If I were to die in a forest, nobody would give a shit. When I go to the doctor, I always have to be on guard, so that the guy isn't an incompetent fuck who mutilates me and takes my money too. When I had problems with my neighbors and called the police, all they did was make me pay for lawyers and shit and I didn't receive any kind of help. When I turn on the TV, I get blasted by ads for Turbo Addictor 9000. When I go out and look at homeless people, everyone treats them like shit for some reason. People have sex in college by using Tinder but nobody even knows or gives a shit about the mathematicians that helped build the world around them.
If you're smart, it's very easy to get tricked by financial entities (such as colleges, governments, companies, etc.) to do a great deal of intellectual work for little pay, while smarter people know not to lose themselves in this "contribute to society" mirage and end up having stabler, safer lives thanks to financial security, low stress and so on.
>inb4 some generic short zoomer responseI know, I know. I used to think the same, but then I woke up. Even autists cheat and try to play the game. Academia is full of gossip, sabotage, cheating, plagiarism, and so on. Over 20% of Harvard students cheat during their years of study. The only difference between a rich CEO and an academia slave is cognitive dissonance. CEO has it in less quantity.
