The moon on the left side of the pic was taken a few days ago. The moon on the right is the same picture but rotated to how I remember the moon as a kid (circa 1979) through my $20 reflecting telescope.

I recall the Tycho crater being more directly towards the south pole but now it seems to have shifted.

Is the moon slowly rotating?
