>>13559618The more higher level of biology you learn the more connected it gets to other sciences. University level biology is as connected to chemistry as physics is to math. But biology and chemistry is it's own thing also, but at higher levels there is more and more overlap. The same is true for physics and chemistry. And physics and math. So all of it gets somewhat connected, but you focus on your part.
I study medicine knowing bio and chem well is important. You also need to be good (compared to hs students) at physics and math, but to a lesser degree. Biochemistry for example is as much bio as it is chem the overlap is big.
