Do any of you guys have any knowledge about the current state of regenerative medicine (including stem cell technology, even those nanobots and what not) for treating damage to the peripheral nervous system? I know this is really cutting edge stuff that hasn't been well-explored yet but if you know of anything in particular you've learned about I'd be curious to hear it.

Also is it true that exercise can help the nervous system heal or is that just "exercise fixes everything" bullshit? I exercised a lot to deal with depression and it didn't help at all.
