>>13551159blogpost about my father and his psoriasis that may help you
in 2014 he lost his job, but he wasn't fired, he was given a monthly subsidy for a year while being told next year he would be sent to another job
he was an alcoholic that had his life in order because of his job, being all day in his house without having to go to work anymore destroyed him, he drank all day, had many accidents falling, eventually I decided to visit him on father's day, because it had been months since my last time seeing him, and when I came in the floor was completely white, and there were 6 inches tall mountains of powder. I thought the origin of that were the white litter box stones of my dad's cat, that they had fallen on the ground and he had crushed them with his feet. But it was his skin. Ever since he had decided to surrender himself to alcohol, his whole body had become covered in psoriasis.
Some doctors, when seeing him for the first time, thought that he was a burning accident victim.
He spent half a year in a hospital, and a year in rehab doing kinesiology. During that period we learnt how to handle his psoriasis, among his many other problems.
Right now he is fine, the only thing he takes against psoriasis is 20 mg of hidrocortisone every day. obviously he can't drink alcohol in the retirement home I put him in.
