I haven't got the vaccine, but I have had a few coworkers who did, and it seems common to need to take a day or two off work due to the side effects. My mom was puking after she got vaccinated. One day I had a plumber schedules to come over, but they had to cancel because their entire workforce was out due to vaccine side effects. I had one coworker say explicitly that covid was better than the vaccine, and he pretty close exposure to both in his family.
Anyway, I am glad we have a vaccine so that we can get more immunity. For myself tho, it seems like getting vaccinated means being sick for two days, and I am not too worried about covid, so I think I will just pass. Also desu I am kind of creeped out by the peer pressure to get vaccinated and I would rather stubbornly resist creepy irrational peer pressure. Maybe that isnt rational on my part I am just not comfortable making decisions on that basis.
