yes they did, their facial analysis tech is the key behind the chinese facial recognition & analysis system. most of the people who worked on the project were tricked into it, it was sold to undergrads as a project to analyze physical attractiveness and it drew socially insecure nerds like flies to shit because they thought they might learn how to get laid or something. instead they build surveillance tool by accident.

The couples staying together the longest happen to have many similar genetical features, the second indicator is the masculinity in men and femininity in women. Those spouting bullshit about artificial construct or dating partners that are very different to them are mentally ill 99% of the time.

People used to have FaceApp threads on /tv/, but not anymore.
I would really like to know if this process can be automated, that is, if an AI can choose to merge two faces to maximize attractiveness. I guess we'll never know.
