No it's pretty easy to detect what kind of mental/psychological shortcomings people have without even talking to them. If I walked onto a college campus I could very easily detect most
in sight autismos.
People who are hard to predict tend to be other intelligent and conscious people like me, it's not hard to find them just like finding autists isn't hard, but predicting them is very difficult. I tend to stay away from them.

Behavior is a response to environment, and the environment is complex.

Your biology plays its hand in whichever way it needs to survive and reproduce, maybe even helping others do the same if it helps you.

Well the ability to digest external social information and react accordingly in group situations is a evolutionary trait. We do all the things we do under the guise of social utility, everything is oriented towards group dynamics. We are so complicated because we are complex , sentient beings , that digest information and act according to our inner monologue.

Individual human behavior is complicated, in fact nearly impossible to predict. However , in large numbers humans are some of the most predictable groups- in terms of averages.

That is why advertising works, because on average we will behave as expected. However the individual will more often than not behave irrationally.
