Secondly, did the tau movement ever gain any real headway outside of stupid youtube videos and one manifesto?
IMO fuck a movement it is used appropriately to the domain of study. aka in math for math purposes to define 2pi is kind of dumb considering how fucked the trig unit circle becomes
and not in physics where tau is generally used to define torque, particle type, sheer stress force, relative time. (really it's just a symbol used to define sometime and the only real relation to pi is in the definition of torque)
