the zero point of the temperature scale is ~2.7ºK, not 0ºK.
The temperature of the universe we live in 2.7ºK and if that isn't emphasized then it leads to bad mistakes, have a look at this:

Scientists base their presumptions on calculations like that, but that calculation is done an imaginary, nonexistent universe with 0ºK as the starting temperature, as a result the calculation is wrong and the effects of the atmosphere on heat retention is overestimated by 10% - 25%

they are arbitrary because they have been constructed by humans to be practical for humans, which is good

that doesn't preclude the existence of other systems, which of course won't be popular if they are designed with some abstract goal of avoiding arbitrary points, disregarding practical concerns

Absolute hot would be molecules bouncing around at the speed of light. Makes it's value 100 yottadegrees or whatever it has to be so that standard degrees are in the range of Fahrenheit and Celsius.
