First step on the road to success is acknowledging there's a problem. The school system fed you garbage Mathematics that's overly-complicated, has little basis in reality, and does not fit together into a coherent ecosystem of knowledge and understanding. You need to relearn from step 1.
I recommend the book "Precalculus Mathematics: In A Nutshell. Geometry Algebra Trigonometry" by George F. Simmons. This is a concise book that wastes none of your time and tells you how and why Mathematics is done the way it is. Obviously its not the be-all end-all of your study, but its a damn good start. I've tried reading other precalculus books and they're disgustingly bloated (>1000 pages) and a dread to muddle through. There's no reason for these school textbooks to be on their 24th version.

Math doesn't get difficult until analysis, but having said that, work through easy problems a lot (any book on highschool math), then work through difficult problems and when you get stuck stop working the problem and do easier problems, return to the problem and repeat until it is solved or youve spent too much time on it.

Retard, math doesn't get difficult until actual research level, everything else has been exposited and simplified over tens or hundreds of years to be as easy to understand as possible. I'm a PhD student and math didn't get difficult until I was studying stuff that was invented in the second half of the 20th Century, and even then you just had to sit down with a book and think a little bit. If you think otherwise you deserve to be filtered.
